There is no end to the curiosity of the curious regarding the mystery of the creation of the universe. However, it should be said that many people understand only the earth as the universe. But the earth is only a small part of the vast universe. The entire world including the earth and other planets, stars, moon, sun, galaxy and everything else, including their habitats, is called the universe.
The scientific information of modern science about the creation of this universe is 'Big Bang Theory'. According to this theory, once upon a time the moon, sun, planets, stars and everything else in our universe were accumulated together in a single object in the form of a dense point. To put it in simple Bengali, everything that exists in separate states in the present universe, these were not so separate then, rather they were all together as a solid mass. Later it expanded through a huge explosion and the creation of the universe began. This information was first published by Belgian scientist George Lamaitre in 1927. Then in 1929, Edwin Hubble observed with his discovered 'Hubble Space Telescope' and proved that the galaxies in the space are constantly moving away from each other. But this is due to no velocity of their own. Rather, the distance between them is increasing as space expands. That is, the universe is constantly expanding. According to him, the previous explosion data is true and the universe is expanding as a result of this explosion. He asserted that, according to the Big Bang theory, the universe was created from a single point of matter. Because, if the expanding universe is taken back in time, then everything in the universe will come to a point and accumulate. Two key facts emerge from the above data. First:
The universe was created from a point. Second, the universe is still expanding. The two facts are very surprising, but the interesting thing is that the information that science has told us only a few years ago through telescopes and various researches, has been recorded in the Qur'an 1500 years ago. Allah Ta'ala says in verse 30 of Surah Al-Ambia, "Don't the disbelievers think that the heavens and the earth were intertwined. Then I separated them both." The 1st fact is clearly understood by the said verse that the universe started from a single point. That is, the Big Bang. In Surah Az-Zariat verse 47, Allah Ta'ala says, "I have created the sky by My power, and indeed I am its expander." Here the Arabic word 'musiun' in the sense of extension is a continuous adjective. Which points to the ongoing expansion of the universe according to the 2nd theory.
It is very clear that modern scientific information about the creation of the universe already exists in the Qur'an. This information, discovered only a few years ago, could not have come from a common man in the desert in the Qur'an of 1500 years ago. This is only possible because it has come from Almighty Allah Rabbul Alamin, the Lord of the universe, the creator of the universe.
